Rad am Ring 2023
Rad am Ring is a 24h race for road cyclists. It’s held on the famous Nürburgring in Germany. Normally cars are racing here, but on this weekend around 6.000 cyclists conquer the track. You can participate as a solo rider, or as a team. One is always riding, whereas the others are resting and camping right next to the course.
The mission:
My job is to capture the essence of the event!
This means shooting photos of the action on course during day and night, as well as moments besides the action, like scenes on the campground and emotional pictures of people fighting and laughing. Additionally pictures of the whole logistics are requested, like people during registration process, getting their rider bags as well as photos of a busy fare ground.
The outcome:
My pictures go directly to the organiser. A few times a day I provide fresh photos for the organisers marketing team. They feed their social media channels with new pictures, release news articles for the press and provide photos on their website for newspapers and other mediums who want to report about this event.
