Alpin8 Everesting
During an everesting challenge you try to reach the 8.848 vertical meters of Mount Everest on a smaller uphill wherever you want. Alpin8 put this into a trail running event format. On a 500m uphill in Brandnertal, Austria you can challenge yourself. To complete the challange you have 36 hours. The downhill is done by gondola.
The mission
My job is to take pictures of the participants during the race.
The emphasis is on the emotions of the athletes and the beautiful alpine valley as a stunning backdrop. So the hard work of climbing uphill over and over again as well as the huge relief in their faces when they completed the challenge needs to be shown.
Furthermore photos of all the sponsors of the event are requested.
Since the first edition of the event is in 2024, the organiser held a preliminary event to create content for promotion purposes.
The outcome
My pictures are used for promotion purposes from the organiser.
Especially on their website and social media channels pictures get posted to illustrate the event.
